How do I upload my photo(s)?
Simply choose which product you would like to purchase from our 'Purrsonalise Your Own' range and upload your photo(s) by clicking on the 'Choose File' button.
How do I upload a physical photo to the site?
If you only have a physical photo then please scan it using a scanner at 300dpi resolution. If you do not have access to a scanner, feel free to call or email us and we will be able to assist you.
Which file formats do you accept?
We accept JPEG or PNG. Please note, if uploading a PNG, the file size will 'appear' significantly larger than if it were a JPEG. This can give the impression that you have an excellent quality photo when that may not necessarily be the case. JPEGs are our preferred option but if you only have a PNG then it is OK to upload that too.
What is the recommended size and resolution for the image(s) I upload?
We currently have a minimum resolution of 1000px x 1000px for uploaded images. However, the larger the size (KB/MB) and bigger the resolution (pixels), the better your canvas will look. Photos that have been uploaded from Facebook/Instagram or directly from Whatsapp will have been compressed and therefore far smaller than we would like - even though the photo may still look good to you! Please always try to upload the ORIGINAL photo. If we think that the uploaded image(s) are too small for your chosen canvas size, we will contact you with our recommendation i.e. smaller canvas/better-quality photo(s).
What's the difference between a canvas print and an acrylic?
A canvas print is the result of an image printed onto canvas which is stretched, or gallery-wrapped, onto a frame and displayed. Unless specifically requested all of our canvasses are gallery-wrapped meaning that the image is wrapped around all four sides of the canvas so that there is no white border showing on the final product. Our premium acrylic offers an eye-catching alternative to our canvas range and are of the highest quality. Your photo print is bonded to 5mm crystal clear professional-grade acrylic, giving a clean, fresh, glass-like look full of intensity and character.
Do your products come ready to hang?
Yes, all our canvasses can be hung on a nail, screw or picture hook on the top edge of the canvas.
I'd like a poster, what finish is used?
All of our posters are printed on 170gsm matt paper, producing a high-quality product perfect for any environment.
I'd like a canvas of a place that isn't in your pre-designed range, is this possible?
Yes! You can either supply your own image and upload it through our 'Purrsonalise your own' section, or send us an email and we can source images on request.
How will I know that I like the design you have created for my canvas combo?
You can specify details when checking out by clicking on 'add a note to your order' e.g. black & white, which photo is the 'main' photo, positioning etc. Once our design team has created your canvas we will send you a proof before manufacturing! If there is something which you don't like, simply tell us what changes you'd like and we will alter your canvas accordingly. Please note, that due to the time and care required when designing your canvas, this is only possible once per canvas.
How long does delivery take?
Our 'Gold Canvas' range takes approximately 5-7 working days to be delivered. Our 'Super Speed' delivery option is next day delivery (Only available if purchasing a platinum or diamond canvas).
How much do you charge for delivery?
We charge a standard flat rate for delivery of £3.99.
Do you use branded packaging?
All our parcels are sealed with Smiffle-branded tape, so that you know it's from us!
What is your returns policy?
All Smiffle.com products are made to order. That means we are unable to accept returns unless the item is faulty. All our products are carefully inspected prior to packaging and delivery, but if your item is faulty there’s no need to send it back to us. Please take some photos of the problem and email us at firstname.lastname@example.org quoting your name, order and delivery address. Our customer service team will be more than happy to offer a replacement or a refund on any faulty items.
